Olivia took her vitamins today with no fuss at all; what a trooper! And she seemed to really enjoy having her hair washed in the sink. If only we could sustain that for bath time. Maybe she's slowly acclimating... After her hair is clean it really does look so pretty and goldish red, I wish that I could get a photo that does it justice.
Olivia spent most of the rest of the day sleeping. At one point she lay on my stomach and I was able to read my book above her. It even shaded her eyes from the lamp, so that worked well for both of us. Unfortunately, we dozed off and missed seeing Adam online, and several phone calls. I apologize to callers & online visitors - we're notorious sleepers lately.
This evening Morgan came over. She did some grocery shopping for us and took out the garbage - what a heroine! She also, since I didn't answer the phone, brought several options for dinner. Tonight Morgan perfected the art of bouncing Olivia and chose her sleep sack for the night (pink with funny sheep). Olivia also investigated her own feet. Morgan's getting to be a pro with Olivia and I couldn't ask for a better friend!
Today I also heard from the lovely Leanne, who runs the playgroup in addition to working and being a mother of three, and she has organized a schedule of people who are bringing me meals twice a week. AND my friend Alex wants to come over and bring dinner. I am going to have a tough time getting rid of this pregnancy weight with all these fabulous meals!! I feel so spoiled. I am so lucky to have such wonderful women in my life.
It's a cold night out tonight, (-40), so I am also very grateful to be cozy and warm with my favorite snuggle baby. Although I had to put her down to write our blog, I can't wait to pick her up and cuddle with her again.
