July 15 - 21, 2012

Sunday, July 15th
We spent this gorgeous day at the garden. It's amazing how bountiful our little garden is, with the minimal amount of work that we've been putting in. We've got so many vegetables that Adam has begun plans for canning! Gardening truly is a 'gateway drug'.

Olivia really loves bath time! This has becomes Daddy's domain. They spend, on average, about 30 minutes laughing and splashing in the tub. It's the best!

Tuesday, July 17th
I think it's safe to say that we have established 11:00 as Olivia's nap time! She gone to sleep successfully at 11 for several days now. I was doubtful it would happen...but hooray!

Wednesday, July 18th
Oh these teeth! They've been giving Olivia grief so today I gave her a piece of frozen waffle to chew on - it was a big hit! Yum yum!
Today she had a lot of fun playing with her pink ball, too. Can you believe that this ball is labeled as "Age 3+"? What will she do? Swallow it?

Friday, July 20th
Today Olivia watched some Max & Ruby cartoons. We were able to play along with the Max & Ruby dolls from Mimi. So much fun!
Daddy made lots of baby food for Olivia today. We've been using Earth's Best since we got back from our trip. There simply hadn't been time to make our own, but this is a sign that things are finally getting back to 'normal'!

Saturday, July 21st
We made our weekend trip to the Farmers Market & the garden. We also stopped at Toy Quest to look for gifts for a little girl who is turning 1. It is very difficult to find toys that are not for newborns, but not for "Age 3+"! There were so many toys that I looked at & thought they would be appropriate, but the label said otherwise. I can't ignore those labels for gifts, but for Olivia I think I can go with parental prerogative.
