After lunch, Olivia & I headed home and Jessica went on some errands. After a phone call from me, she came to our rescue - bringing Dr. Pepper and ready to watch Olivia while I cleaned off the Blazer. Thank goodness for Jessica! She let us park the Blazer in her extra spot so that North Haven wouldn't tow it for street cleaning (that was a lovely voice mail to receive - especially since it was 11 days earlier than they had originally indicated it needed to be moved). This meant Olivia was in and out of the car seat a bunch, which threw off our usual schedule of naps.
We got to Skype with Mimi and Pop and they got a good look at Olivia's tongue. While we were on the call, the doorbell rang and we were met with a beautiful arrangement of pink roses from Ralph, Holly & Katie Love. They were stunning! We wore down the batteries on Mimi's laptop before hanging up and then we chatted online with Kari and Daddy (for just a brief moment). No matter how brief, it's always nice to connect with both of them.
Then Olivia & I finally took a much needed nap. No naps yesterday and no naps today meant we were both very ready for a nice rest. We slept for about two hours. Then it was time for both of us to eat. I had breaded pork chop with cranberry jelly and steamed vegetables. Olivia had...milk. She rested easily after we ate and I spent a lot of time taking pictures of her funny faces. It's back to sleep for the two of us any moment now.
