Last night we got lots of sleep. Olivia woke up every three hours like clockwork, which let me get plenty of rest in between feedings. Bonus! I think this will be a very manageable schedule, if we can maintain it.

Today Mimi rearranged her flight so that she can stay to help us with our upcoming doctors' appointments and to make sure that I am alright. I am very happy that she's staying longer - I love having her here! And, as improved as I am feeling, I know that I still have some limits. I hope the doctor gives me a clean bill of health tomorrow morning. At least I've been able to wear shoes the past two days! That's enough to excite me! I will be glad for Mimi's support at Olivia's appointment as we address her tongue tie. Having her there, with her personal experience dealing with my tongue tie, will be invaluable. Thank goodness for Moms.

This morning Olivia got a bath, which she did not appreciate. Poor baby. It was such a 'traumatic' experience that we immediately went through a new outfit and needed some cuddling to recover. Truthfully, it only took a few minutes to calm her - but she's such a happy baby that it's so sad/strange to see her upset. On the positive side, her hair was nice and soft and shaped itself into a crazy, red mohawk.

Then we went out to lunch at the Airport Way Diner. Coupled with Brewster's, where we ate yesterday, these two restaurants saw a lot of me during the last part of my pregnancy. So it was nice to have the waitstaff coo over Olivia, since she's part Airport Way grilled cheese and part Brewster's bacon Swiss burger. (wink)
Then we went to the airport to confirm Mimi's flight change and continued on to Barnes & Noble. Mimi sat with Olivia in the cafe while I grabbed some of my favorite books, a treat for the receptionist tomorrow, a 'Baby Book', and some magazines for Mimi. Olivia had her first public bathroom experience, without incident, and then we all went home.

Tonight we had a little fashion show and tried on a sweater & hat set that cousin Jane made. They looked so sweet and Olivia was so happy in the sweater that it stayed on all night. We also opened packages from Nana, with super cute outfits, and a package from Chris, Lisa & the triplets. We are so spoiled! We also received a package with a replacement charger for our baby monitor, but so far no luck in getting it to work. Looks like I'll have to call Summer Infant tomorrow. They've been very nice and said that they would replace the equipment if this didn't solve the problem.
Tonight we're trying to go to bed even earlier than last night, since we have an early day tomorrow. Just waiting on midnight so that I can take my last dose of medication.
